Usually one week is sufficient time to
view and purchase a property. BG Properties Ltd needs a
few days notice for Inspection Trips unless you are
already in Bulgaria and then we can usually arrange some
property visits. We advise people to fly to Bulgaria on
a Sunday, when using scheduled airlines, so that the
property viewing can start on the Monday.
TRAVEL
Arrangements vary from winter to summer as the Bulgaria
coast only has direct flights from May to October each
year. The mountains however have charter services from
mid-December to April. We understand that one or more of
the economy airlines is considering implementing a
service in the thise year or so but winter scheduled
flights to Sofia are the way forward for visiting the
coast. In the summer it is possible to get an
inexpensive package trip or an independent traveler fare
from one of the charter companies.
BOOKINGS
We ask you to book your own International flights
in the
winter and once you have the dates send an
e-mail to us
and we will then contact you direct. From October to May
the Varna office can make reservation the internal
flight from Sofia to Varna and return. Either way BG
Properties can arrange this for you and a member of
staff will meet you at your Port of Entry and escort you
to your hotel. The daily internal flight fills up very
quickly and it is advisable to let us know your visit
dates as soon as possible. The alternative method of
getting to the coast is by coach (international
standard) but this is time consuming. We can also make
reservations for you at a good 3 star, but inexpensive
hotel in Varna, 200 meters from the Sea Garden Park and
the coast and within walking distance of the city
center, similarly in the mountains. We need the full
names, address and contact telephone number of those
traveling to make internal flight & hotel reservations.
MONEY
Payment for your internal flight ( in Euros or the local
currency, Levs NO CREDIT CARDS ) is made on collecting
your tickets from the airline office in the Departure
Terminal at Sofia Airport. Likewise for your hotel NO
CREDIT CARDS but they will be happy to be paid the next
day after you have changed your money. Only change the
minimum of money at the airport as the exchange rate
there is poor.
PROPERTY VIEW
We make no charge for setting this up for you just a
contribution towards fuel to cover petrol costs. Looking
at properties in both the mountains and the coast can be
achieved in one visit although this is very tiring and
not recommended. This can be done either at the
beginning of your stay by collecting you from Sofia then
to the coast in the Varna area or the reverse, to Varna
by internal flight and then subsequently to the
mountains. For a 2 centre visit we charge you the actual
cost of the fuel. |

Bulgaria, in the south-eastern
corner of Europe has just the right balance of

coast. An astonishing diversity of landscapes and wildlife
with many old villages and towns with fascinating
architecture. Modern facilities are in place yet the roads
